The day that five-week old Will would finally meet his daddy started bright and early. It would be another couple of hours before the plane actually landed and the Marines finally made their way to the squadron. Of course Marines and Marine families are used to "hurry up and wait." Fortunately it appears Will is already an expert at this aspect of military life. He contentedly slept through most of the morning.

We passed the time by posing T. and Will by the rescue sign on the helicopter, not that she needed it even after a seven-month deployment, a pregnancy, and a newborn.
You're amazing!

Finally they pulled up. T. and Will might have been ready for the reunion, but how to find the one that belongs to you in a sea of camouflage and covers that make everyone look alike?

I'm pretty sure they liked each other instantaneously:

Watching the range of emotions cross your faces was an amazing way to spend the morning. I am so happy for your family!
